Adjustable Friction Saver
SherrillTree is introducing a variation to friction management, called Adjustable Friction Saver that most in the industry simply refer to by its acronym, AFS. This one-size-fits-all, rope-friendly device can be set from the ground or within the crown. It'll go around branches as small as your wrist up to tree trunks as large as the circumference of the entire device to be used as an anchor position of any type of climbing line. Vermeer Introduces New 21-inch Brush ChipperFeatures patent-pending feed rollers, belt-tensioned clutchless design, and largest feed table in its class.

The Vermeer BC2100XL brush chipper is powered by either a 215 hp (160 kW), 250 hp (186 kW), or 275 hp (205 kW) Tier 3 diesel engine to tackle the toughest land clearing projects.  With a 21-inch capacity and the largest infeed table in its class, the BC2100XL allows for smooth material feeding.  Offset horizontal feed rollers have theoretical combined 10,000 pounds (4536 kg) of pulling force and allow for easier feeding of material and less need for manual control of the upper feed roller when chipping large diameter material.

An exclusive SmartCrush system provides increased down pressure on the material being fed and assists when feeding forked or branchy material. A belt-tensioned clutchless design helps to decrease the cost of operation associated with clutch failures. Heavy-duty tandem torsion axles provide reliable off-road jobsite performance.  Optional manual or hydraulic outriggers support the back of the chipper, preventing the unit from bouncing while chipping or while loading large diameter material onto the feed table.
